Hello! My name is Jumaila, and I am currently a first-year medical student. Prior to this, I earned a BSc in Biomedical Science with a focus on Physiology and Pharmacology, followed by a Master’s in Physician Associate Studies from St George’s University of London. Iโm driven to pursue a career in medicine because it allows me to make a real, meaningful difference in people’s lives. The opportunity to help and heal others, while continually learning, inspires me. I have always been fascinated by the human body and how its intricate systems work in harmony to sustain life.
In my spare time, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym and swimming. I also have a creative sideโI love embroidery and sewing, which offer a relaxing balance to my studies. My passion for both science and creativity keeps me motivated and fulfilled, as I strive toward my goal of becoming a compassionate and skilled healthcare professional.
I will be committed to teaching my tutees and adapting my teaching style to fit and aid each students. I will ensure to teach in an effective manner to guide students and help them reach their goals. Revision is essential when it comes to consolidating and recalling information, I will be helping and guiding students to ensure this is done.
I have done tutoring for the past 2 years and I love helping students reach their potential goal.
Mu proudest achievement would be getting student of the year award in secondary school, completing my BSc and Master degree
