Hello students, my name is Louise and I am a fourth-year medical student at Newcastle University. I am excited to be your tutor and I am looking forward to working with each and every one of you. As a medical student, I have a strong passion for science and a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology, as well as tips and tricks for going through GCSE and A-levels as well as getting into medical school. I believe that education is a powerful tool that can help us achieve our goals and improve our quality of life. I am here to help you succeed and reach your full potential by providing academic guidance and pastoral support. My excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and commitment will be reflected in my student’s success. Let’s work together to achieve your academic goals and make the most of this learning experience!
My teaching style is centered around personalized attention and interactive sessions. I believe in breaking down complex topics into manageable parts and making connections between what the student already knows and what they are trying to learn. I encourage active participation and question asking, creating an environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and trying new things. Additionally, I continuously assess my student’s understanding and adjust my approach to best meet their individual needs and learning preferences. My goal is to not only help students achieve academic success but also to foster their passion for learning, while being more of a friend to them than a distant tutor.
I have extensive experience in tutoring students in both the sciences and in preparation for medical school. During my time as a tutor, I have helped numerous students excel in Chemistry and Biology A-levels, and also provided guidance and support to those who are aspiring to pursue a career in medicine. I have a wealth of resources and tips that I have accumulated through my own experiences in medical school and the medical admissions process. I have a proven track record of helping students achieve their goals, and I am confident that I can help you reach your full potential in both your academic and medical pursuits.
My proudest achievements are rooted in my academic accomplishments. Receiving a scholarship to study my GCSE and A Levels was a significant recognition of my hard work and dedication to my studies. During high school, I was an honor student for several years, which was a testament to my commitment to excelling in my academics.
