2About Me
Hi there, I’m Omar, a third year veterinary student studying at the University of Nottingham. I really enjoy studying Veterinary Medicine and I’m sure you will too. When I attended my interviews in late 2019, I was fortunate enough to get 3 offers from Harper-Keele, The University of Surrey and the University of Nottingham. I have a lot of one-to-one tutoring experience helping friends and clients alike. I’m a very patient and welcoming person and that really reflects in my teaching style, so I’m sure you will feel comfortable doing a lesson with me. I also have a lot of knowledge on Veterinary interviews, whether they are MMIs or panel interviews. Outside of Veterinary Medicine, I have a wide range of interests so I’m sure we will be able to connect with something we both like, I always found it easier to be tutored by someone who you can easily get along with.
My teaching style
I like to be both welcoming from the start and patient throughout our lessons. I feel that this is the best way to get my students to feel comfortable enough to admit when they don’t understand something. It’s important to note that everyone needs a slightly different approach to learning, for that reason I’m also very adaptable and creative with my teaching style so that I can personalise my teaching methods to whatever suits you best.
