I’m Kalana Kasthuriarachchi, a medical student at the University of Naples Federico II. My journey into medicine has been fueled by resilience, hard work, and a passion for helping others achieve their dreams. I’ve had personal experience preparing for one of the most competitive exams, the IMAT (International Medical Admissions Test). In the first time facing the IMAT exam, I scored 45, falling short of admission. However, I didn’t give up—instead, I worked tirelessly to improve and, in my second attempt, achieved an exceptional **78.3 out of 90**, ranking **second at my university** and placing **in the top 60 globally**. This journey taught me perseverance and the strategies needed to excel, and I’m excited to share them with you.
