2About Me
Hi, my name is Kyra and I am a 3rd year dental student studying in the University of Bristol. I feel like I can help you through this crucial process of getting into dental school as I have been in that position myself. I feel like I will be able to give good pointers and tips when it comes to both UCAT and interview preparation. I also think it is important to find a balance between preparation and having time for yourself to do other things, so that the process is not as stressful. I am always happy to help if there are questions outside preparations such as university life, what the university offers, etc. I have had a good experience of doing an MMI and panel interviews so I would be able to offer support for both. Lastly, I am looking forward to get to know you and take you through this rewarding journey.
My teaching style
My teaching style varies from student to student. I very much give the choice to the student based on a few methods I teach. More often than not, I would go through the theory part of it during the first few lessons then do some practice questions. Some students prefer doing some theory and some questions within the same few lessons as they learn better this way. I am flexible and am ready to adapt my teaching style to the students’ way of learning.
My past experience
I have had a lot of experience teaching UCAT and dental interviews.
My Proudest Achievements
One of my proudest achievements was getting into all the Dental Schools I got interviews from. Further, I also achieved 8A*2A in GCSE. Lastly, I also received an offer from an Irish University for Dentistry.
