1About Me
Hello! I’m Phoebe, I am currently a first-year dental student at Newcastle University, and I am very motivated to support you and your journey into dentistry through interview tutoring. Last year, following my 3 dental school interviews I received 3/3 offers from Newcastle, Liverpool and Plymouth. I strongly feel as though i know what interviewers are looking for and therefore how to stand out in the crowd.
I intend to support you in not only interview answers but, also equally as important aspects such as confidence, body language, etc. I am hoping to relieve your anxiety as much as possible by preparing you fully, resulting in you finding the process enjoyable instead of stressful. I also intend for our sessions to be stress free and engaging whilst we cover the variety of different types of questions you will receive in panel/MMI interview, these will include personality questions, dentistry-specific, university specific and role play scenarios.
My teaching style
My approach is to make our sessions as interactive and engaging as possible. As well as basing my teaching off of individual students needs, whether this means focusing on a students delivery of answers, or the content of the answers, or both! When i believe the student is ready to move onto a full mock interview, I will do so
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement is successfully getting into dental school, as I went through the process myself recently, I know the toll it takes on an individual and the anxiety from sitting the UCAT exam, interviews, offers and finally grades. I believe it has been the most difficult thing I have had to overcome in my life and I am very proud of the drive that it took to achieve.
