Hi ๐ I’m Amelia. I’m a third year vet student studying at the University of Nottingham.
I love studying veterinary medicine as it allows me to combine helping people and animals.
Making an application to study veterinary medicine is very exciting but it can also be daunting! I’m here to help ๐ Having been through the process myself and with previous experience helping other students on their journey to vet school, I have valuable insight on every stage of the application process from considering further reading to do before you even write your personal statement, right up to running practice interviews to get you ready for the assessment day.
I know how important it is to build confidence so will work hard with you to ensure you feel prepared for every step. I will make sure you are comfortable with all kinds of different challenges, from dealing with unexpected questions to handling time pressure, all of which will show your interviewer why you have the qualities needed to make an excellent vet.
Get in touch and let’s work together to make you the best applicant you can be ๐
First and foremost, we’ll start by discussing your previous experience and future goals.
We’ll work together to craft your application, thinking about which experiences you’ve had will be relevant, and how we can show off your qualities as a strong application.
When preparing you for your application, we’ll work methodically through each step, paying special attention to anything you might be struggling with or have questions about. Whatever your queries, there’s no silly question – I’m here to help!
I’m all about building confidence; we can do as much practice as you feel you need. I’ll give you some tricky questions now and again, but it’s all about best preparation – you’ll learn how to tackle those difficult questions with me so that when it comes to the real interview you’ll have nothing to worry about.
Any questions, just get in touch. I look forward to hearing with you ๐
I have tutored Biology at GCSE and A Level. I have also hosted mock interviews for a number of veterinary applicants, catering to both the panel interview and MMI style.
Firstly, I’m very proud to have got accepted into a vet school I love and believe 100% is the best place for me to learn! I look forward to helping you do the same ๐
My veterinary career means I have not only academic success to be proud of, but also moments that have real-world impact. Some of my proudest achievements include delivering lambs and calves safely during difficult births, being able to assist vets and nurses during surgery, and reassuring owners in times of high emotion.
