1About Me
Hi, my name is Hannah White and I am a first year medical student at the University of Exeter. Having recently finished the application process, during a year when it has been incredibly competitive to get into medical school, I know how difficult and daunting the application process can be. With balancing the UCAT, interviews, personal statement and A Levels, I know it can seem like an impossible mountain to climb. But having received three offers from Birmingham, Exeter and Newcastle, I have many tips and tricks to share to help with the interview process.
I have experience tutoring students in A Level Biology as well as mentoring people in the UCAT and interview process. Through my enthusiastic teaching approach, I have helped many students successfully gain a place at medical school. I know that by working with every student individually, that I can help them do the same.
My teaching style
My teaching style is dependent on the student’s individual needs. I am enthusiastic and approachable. I listen to my pupils, discover their weaknesses and then work on them to ensure they are as prepared as possible for their interview through doing mock interview stations and explaining the key concepts most likely to come up.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement is scoring in the top decile in my UCAT, receiving all four interviews for medical school and then going on to receive 3 offers.
