11About Me
Hello!
My name is Rachel and I am currently between my fifth and final year at the University of Cambridge studying medicine.
I received 5/5 of my UCAS offers, including medicine at Edinburgh, Newcastle, Hull-York and Cambridge, as well as a place in biomedical science at Newcastle.
I enjoy supporting students with their medicine applications- including UCAT, personal statement and interview preparation. I have extensive experience in this area, including several successful Oxbridge medicine candidates.
I enjoy tutoring all STEM subjects- particularly science and maths. I achieved A*A*A* in triple science GCSE, and grade 9 in maths. My A-levels included Biology A*, Maths A*, Chemistry A, Physics A, EPQ A.
I aim to push every tutee to their full potential, increasing both competence and confidence, and hope to work with you soon!
My teaching style
I am friendly and encouraging, aiming to work together to negotiate the needs of the student, and how best to support them. I aim to increase the student’s confidence in the chosen subject, and identify areas of weakness to focus on.
