4About Me
Hi Iโm Asvitha. I am going into my first year at Cardiff University to study Dentistry. I have previously completed a degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of Portsmouth. I have always wanted to become a dentist and from applying to dentistry second time I was able to get into dental school. I have an outgoing and funny personality so I am approachable for anyone. I enjoy spending time with family as well as outdoor activities. I like to have an active lifestyle to ensure I have a balanced life. Itโs important when studying demanding courses like dentistry, having a balanced lifestyle can help with stress. I have over 4 years of tutoring experience for students studying GCSE and A-Level. I have tutored students for English Maths and Science with all my previous students obtaining grades over 7 and above.
My teaching style
I like to keep students engaged by involving them in the lesson. I have visual presentation and active participation through questions and discussion. I ask what the students learning style is at the initial lesson and would plan lessons accordingly.
My past experience
I have 4 years tutoring experience for students taking GCSE and A-Level including science English and maths.
My Proudest Achievements
I was unable to study Dentistry first time in my application however I knew I did not want to give up. I had a lot of dedication and motivation to become a dentist.
