Hi, I am George and I am a 4th year medical student at the University of Exeter. I went to school at Blundell’s school in Tiverton and have spent most of my life in the South West. I am very passionate about medical education and hope to show you why medicine is the best degree to apply for. I enjoy playing a lot of sports, specifically cricket, hockey and football. I play the piano and am also a giant history buff. I am particularly keen to go into surgery once I qualify as a doctor. I have a particular interest in Orthopaedics, General Surgery and Gynaecology. I am planning an elective to go to Tanzania for 4 weeks in my 5th year. I am currently the vice president of Exeter’s Orthopaedic society. I am in the process of help organise the South West Orthopaedic Conference. I am more than happy to discuss medical school and answer any questions you may have.
I am very keen to teach through practice. I will offer mock interviews that will cover both MMI and panel interview styles. I will also look to implement the same techniques that made me successful at both Exeter and Southampton. Interviews require a large amount of confidence and I hope to provide the necessary self belief needed to maximise your chances of success.
I have successfully tutored someone to get offers from Worcester and Warwick medical schools.
Last summer I walked 800km of the Camino de Santiago across the width of Northern Spain
