Sumandeep

Hi there! My name is Sumandeep and I am a 2021 University of Leeds Dental Surgery Graduate.

I have had many years of experience interviewing candidates for entry to Dental Surgery and Dental Hygiene and Therapy courses, so definitely feel I could help in demystifying the interview and application process! I received 2 Dental Surgery offers when I applied in 2015/16 from Leeds and Plymouth, so have experience with MMIs as well as panel interviews.

I have successfully guided many students through the application process in previous years, and feel confident I can help your child build on their existing communication and interview skills so that they can perform to the best of their potential.

I feel I am friendly and approachable, working as a student ambassador throughout my time at university, as well as standing as DentSoc committee member for many years, so I feel I am experienced in speaking with younger students and understanding their way of thinking and ways in which we can work together and to their strengths to achieve the best results.

I firmly believe that every student has the capability to perform well at interview, however sometimes it merely takes a guide to somewhat light the way a little so that the student’s confidence is restored and they are reassured that the interviews are manageable and only looking to assess the characteristics that they already possess.
