9About Me
Hi, my name is Aaminah, Iโm a student at the University of Manchester. I took a gap year last year and worked at a dental practice to gain some experience in a dental environment. I love to teach and have tutored students, helping them achieve high scores in their exams! I also organised a dental society at my school where I gave students an insight into medical and dental school and also helped others with interview preparation.
Taking part in a county-level chemistry competition also shows I am driven to learn, develop and excel and would love to help others reach their full potential.
I would love the opportunity to help students be able to receive offers from their universities by doing interview preparation and to achieve the grades they need.
My hobbies include baking, kickboxing and going to the gym!
My teaching style
As a tutor, I am quite flexible and adapt my teaching style to the needs of each student. Over the years of tutoring, I have learned that different students learn in different ways e.g. if someone is a visual learner, I will tend to use mind maps and diagrams.
My past experience
I have 4 years experience as a tutor at my school and sixth form and have helped students achieve A*s in their Science GCSEs. I have a passion for helping students reach their true potential!
My Proudest Achievements
I have achieved exceptional awards in my GCSEs. I have also received GCSE awards for Biology and chemistry and achieved the highest score in my Psychology A levels!
