Malaika

Hi, my name is Malaika, I am a 4th year medical student at the University of Plymouth. I studied a foundation year in medicine which required a lot of planning ahead and perseverance, but it gave me key insights on the unconventional path to medicine and how to apply with qualifications other than A Levels. I have worked hard to get where I am today from struggling in year 9 to thriving at medical school, I know how much hard work it takes to get here. I have been through this process and have struggled, and I know the amount of determination it takes to achieve those dreams, but I am here to help you. I am easy to talk to and willing to help at any given moment. I had to go through my studies and applying to medical school alone so I know how hard the process is, during this time I have developed many tips that I would have greatly appreciated when I was in those situations.
