9About Me
Hi! My name is Lavanya and I’m a fourth year Dental Surgery student at University of Leeds. Having had experience with online tutoring during my dental application process, I can appreciate how beneficial it can be to have someone there to answer any questions or worries. After going through the application process, there are many things i would have done differently and also advice and tips that i can share that helped me a huge amount. I’m passionate about teaching maths, biology, chemistry, as i achieved 989 at GCSE and AAA at A level, as well as UCAT, BMAT and helping with Dental interviews and Personal statements. I’m excited to share my insight into online interviews and tests and help students along the way with advice on how to manage all of these commitments with revision and hobbies etc.
My teaching style
My teaching style would be best described as student-centered as it relies on how the student learns ( visual, verbal, auditory etc). This includes using different types of resources and regularly checking the students understanding along the way.
My past experience
I have past experience tutoring GCSE students from year 10 and 11 in maths, biology, chemistry and physics.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievements would be successfully getting into Dental school and achieving A*A*AAA at A levels.
