2About Me
I am currently a first year dental student at the University of Leeds. I have completed a previous degree from the University of Bradford, in clinical sciences. After graduating I also worked as a software engineer for 3 years. I have also worked as a tutor in both kumon and explore learning and picked up techniques to help maximise learning and cater it to individuals. I have proof read peopleโs personal statements in the past and also conducted mock interviews. Collectively I feel I have an array of skills and experience to help prospective dental students with their interview techniques. I wish to help people achieve their goals of becoming dentists, as I have been through the process myself I know how tough it can be! Due to my work background I feel I have a unique experience which can help during the tutoring sessions.
My teaching style
I prefer to explore the most effective techniques for the student and teach lessons based on their preference. I would discuss how the student would like to be taught and cater my classes accordingly. I have found the most effective way to teach a student interview techniques is through mocks!
My past experience
I have worked in kumon and explore learning.
My Proudest Achievements
Gaining a depth of experience from other fields such as tech and never giving up on my desire to student dentistry.
