1About Me
Hello guys!
My name is Anthony. I am a first year Dental Student, studying at the University of Sheffield! Getting into dental school was certainly a tough journey for me! I can therefore understand how overwhelming it can be having to re-apply over and over again. Having grown up in Greece, I have been fortunate to see how dentistry is practised abroad. Having completed a degree in Biomedical Science, it instilled me with the confidence and the medical background that I needed in order to succeed in the interview. I have been previously mentored by the Medical Director of UCLH, and also a number of Dental Specialists practising mocks in a hospital environment. This gave me an understanding of what the interviewers are looking for in a student. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and experience in order to help you achieve your goals.
My teaching style
How I like to teach students is by asking them a lot of questions in order to understand where their weaknesses lie so we can improve them together. I also tend to do a lot of mocks, as I believe that it is the best way to prepare for an interview.
My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement to date is receiving an offer to study my passion, dentistry.
