I am an international medical student from India, in my 4th Year of Medicine at St.George’s University of London. I realise how challenging the journey to apply to medical school can be and want to help ensure the path can be as smooth as possible. I am highly fascinated by the complex workings of the human body and I feel grateful to get to listen to the patients and their unique stories.
I am a firm believer that applicants must strategically apply to medical schools based on areas of the application that are strong whether the UCAT score or interview skills. I am very passionate about teaching and want to make sure students don’t make common mistakes in their application and create the best possible application as I recognise how competitive medical school applications can be. I have helped many students with their application including their entrance test and interview prep.
In my spare time, I enjoy baking, taking my dog on walks and painting. I am also a part of the Anatomy society at my university.
I strongly believe in tailoring the lessons to the individual needs of the student, depending on their learning style. I am flexible to adjust the teaching style based on what works best. I want to make sure each session is valuable and each student has the tools to understand rather than the answer.
I will prepare and research beforehand to ensure the time in our lesson is not wasted. I am more than willing to run practice interview sessions, give feedback on personal statements and give tips and tricks for the UCAT.
I will tailor the lessons for interview based on the universities you are applying to and include current issues and examples to ensure you are well prepared.
I have previously mentored students applying to medical school and found that each student has an individual and unique application journey that needs attention.
I am very proud of my journey of getting into medical school as an international student as well as founding a non-profit organisation called Gift A Cake in New Delhi India. It involved celebrating young patients birthdays on the oncology ward with home-baked cakes from a group of volunteers.
