4About Me
Hiya! I’m a second year medical student at UCL and I’ve been tutoring students at Medic Mind for almost a year now. My tutees have received interviews at a range of top medical universities like Cambridge, UCL, Imperial and Leeds, and have gained offers from those institutions too; I am excited to carry on tutoring students so that they can get into the medical school that they wish to! I am bubbly, clear in my explanations and highly organised – I respond to any queries a student has within a few hours. I remember how stressful the process of applying to medical school was when I was in sixth form, and looking back, I wish that I was better supported throughout the application procedure. This is why I always strive to be an informative, supportive and highly competent tutor, and to make sure that my tutees feel both confident and calm before very entrance exam and interview ๐
N.B. I tutor for BMAT, TSA, IMAT and medical interview preparation.
My teaching style
I focus on targeting each student’s areas of weaknesses and trying to improve them as much as possible, whilst still integrating this practice with other areas of the exam/interview too. For example in the BMAT, if a pupil is quite weak on physics questions in section 1, I will go through lots of physics questions with them, explaining each concept carefully and clearly. On the other hand, during interview preparation, if a student feels that they need to improve on answering medical ethics questions, I will collate numerous medical ethics questions and do as many as we can. Throughout the whole processes, I ensure that the student fully understands the answers to each question before moving on.

My Proudest Achievements
My proudest achievement this year was seeing some students whom I tutored for BMAT in September/October time, receive their medical school offers at the end of the application process in around March. I am thrilled to be in a position where I can really help students achieve their goals, and I look forward to more proud moments like these!
